World Series Game 2 sets Rangers attendance record 2nd night in row at Globe Life Field

Saturday’s attendance was slightly higher than the record set Friday.

ARLINGTON ― The World Series brought tens of thousands of baseball fans to Arlington this weekend, setting attendance records at Globe Life Field for Rangers games in back-to-back nights.

A grand 42,500 fans attended Game 2 on Saturday, edging out Game 1′s 42,472 record-setting attendance.

Globe Life Field opened in 2020 and can hold about 40,300 fans in its seven seating levels. That estimate doesn’t include fans inside suites.

Before this weekend, the last Rangers game to set a paid attendance record at Globe Life Field was in April when the Rangers played the Yankees. There were 40,027 in attendance.
