The Rangers will receive cash considerations for the 29-year-old reliever.

On Thursday, the Texas Rangers announced that they have traded right-handed reliever Shaun Anderson to the Miami Marlins in exchange for cash considerations.

The Rangers’ bullpen is still in flux after rookie reliever Cole Winn had a poor performance against the Phillies last week, highlighting the teams’ lack of pitching options when playing from behind. Besides Winn, Grant Anderson, Jonathan Hernández and Yerry Rodriguez are the team’s remaining options when it comes to those situations, and it’s yet to be seen whether or not the team will make any additional moves ahead of the Jul. 30 trade deadline.
