Major League Baseball on Wednesday announced the first wave of participants for the 2024 All-Star Celebrity Softball Game at Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers.

Among the lineup of celebs who are heading to Arlington for this year’s game are former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens, country music star and a former Cowboys Thanksgiving halftime performer Kane Brown and NBA All-Star Tyrese Maxey, a former star at South Garland.

Baseball Hall of Famer Pedro Martínez will participate alongside softball legends Jennie Finch, Natasha Watley, and Lauren Gipson (Chamberlain), plus Dude Perfect’s Tyler Toney, Garrett Hilbert, musica Mexicana pioneers Payo Solis & Julian Peña Jr of Grupo Frontera and many others.

The game is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 13 as part of All-Star Saturday festivities following the 2024 All-Star Futures Game. Rangers legends Adrian Beltré and Michael Young are set to face off as the two managers of the game featuring baseball’s top minor league prospects. Following the conclusion of the Futures Game will be the brand-new MLB Futures Skills Showcase. The hitting competition, which will feature three rounds of hitting challenges, is inspired by fan favorite baseball video games past and present.
