The Dallas Stars arrived at their training camp in Frisco this year, ahead of the start of their regular season on Oct. 10 against the Nashville Predators, with their roster mostly cemented.
However, the reigning NHL Western Conference finalists did give themselves the flexibility to add a 13th forward if they choose to do so with $2.2 million remaining on their cap.
