Stars at full strength for first time this season with returns of Tyler Seguin, Matt Dumba

The Dallas Stars will have their full lineup available Tuesday night vs. Buffalo.

For the first time this season, the Dallas Stars will have their full roster available for a game.

Stars head coach Pete DeBoer announced his team’s three injured players — Tyler Seguin, Matt Dumba and Sam Steel — would all be back in the lineup for Tuesday’s road game at Buffalo.

Oskar Bäck and Brendan Smith are expected to be the healthy scratches Tuesday while Alexander Petrovic and Matej Blumel, who made his season debut in Dallas’ game against Edmonton Saturday, were sent back down to the Texas Stars on Sunday.

Dumba missed the longest time of the three injured players, as the top-pairing defenseman was ruled week-to-week after landing awkwardly on his leg in the Stars’ home opener against the New York Islanders on Oct. 12.

Seguin also suffered a lower-body injury and had been ruled out for the Stars’ last three games as he recovered.

Steel’s injury came Thursday against the Capitals and sidelined him for Saturday’s game against Edmonton.

Despite all the injuries Dallas has seen throughout the first two weeks of the season, it’s managed a 5-1 record and 4-0 home record to start.

The Stars will play two games on the East Coast this week before a final home game against Chicago on Saturday ahead of the trip to Finland next week.
