Less than a day after a new national champion was crowned, the college baseball world is buzzing again. Thank Jim Schlossnagle for that.
Texas announced that it had hired Schlossnagle as its new baseball coach Tuesday, poaching him from rival Texas A&M. Schlossnagle recently led the Aggies on a successful postseason run, seeing them finish one win shy of a national title.
The head coach takes over for David Pierce, who spent eight seasons as head coach of the Longhorns. Here are some of the nation’s reactions to Schlossnagle’s move:

The first thing Jim Schlossnagle should do is call the TexAgs reporter, Richard Zane, and apologize for insulting him about his question about the Longhorns' job after the defeat. Schlossnagle will never have any credibility again except in Austin.

Texas A&M made their 1st National Championship game in a major men’s sport in 85 years and it resulted in a loss and their head coach, who is the only reason they made said Championship game, being stolen by their biggest rival.
