Northern and eastern suburbs continued to dominate the region’s housing market in 2022.
A Dallas company is the latest to put up houses in the market, which has seen interest from buyers and builders from all over North Texas and even from outside the state.

In 2000, Prosper didn’t even have a single stoplight. Now it’s one of the centers of North Texas’ fastest growth.

More than 1,000 building permits were issued last year just for single-family homes.
While some towns hope new homes will attract industry, its city officials hope jobs and shopping will attract new homes.
It’s a small town with no retail center, but progress is coming with the approval of four new housing subdivisions.
Many of its residents work at defense contractor L3 in Greenville and at companies in the Rockwall Technology Park.
