Length of residency in your county and district, as applicable:
I’m a fifth-generation Texan and lifelong DFW resident. My wife Christen and I bought property to build our home in Tarrant County over ten years ago. We moved our family to Southlake because we believed Tarrant County was the best place to raise our family. I’m running for Tarrant County Judge to ensure we keep it the safest place to live, work, go to school, and raise a family.
Occupation/main source of income:
I’ve been an attorney for the past 25 years and founded my own law firm in 2001. Since that time, I’ve been honored to be named an AV/Preeminent rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, the nation’s oldest and most respected attorney rating service. I’ve also earned the title of "Texas Super Lawyer" eight consecutive years and have been named one of the top lawyers in Texas Monthly numerous times. As an attorney, I’ve worked tirelessly to build a reputation of leading with integrity, honesty, and the highest commitment to truth and justice. In addition to my legal career, I have been a longtime real estate investor. Once elected, I will become a full-time County Judge.
Education (include all degrees):
I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Finance, before going on to earn my law degree from the SMU School of Law.
