There’s no reason to pay full price, if you plan ahead.

It’s almost that time again. The ramp-up to the State Fair of Texas has begun, with the food finalists in the Big Tex Choice Awards unveiled on Tuesday. Before long, fairgoers will have a chance to sample the selections for themselves and take part in everything else the fair has to offer.

Ticket prices for the 2022 State Fair of Texas stayed the same as in 2021, but don’t miss out on these discounts that are available every day of the week, if you know how to snag them.

Before you cash in those savings — cha-ching! — take a look at what regularly priced tickets and season passes will cost.

The price goes up to $20 for adults and $15 for kids and seniors on Fridays. It tops out at $25 per adult and $18 for kids and seniors on Saturdays and Sundays.
