That’s more restaurants open on Turkey Day than we’ve ever seen.

Thanksgiving Day is all about friends, family and fellowship. It doesn’t need to be about those other F words, fretting or frying. If cooking and cleaning for a group of people just aren’t your thing, let one of dozens of restaurants in Dallas-Fort Worth do the hard work for you instead.

All the information below is for Thanksgiving Day menus and hours only. At most of these restaurants, reservations are recommended.

12 Cuts Brazilian Steakhouse is selling a meaty feast on Thanksgiving Day. For a flat fee, customers can enjoy beef ancho, filet mignon, leg of lamb, pork ribs and more. Lunch and dinner includes salad bar, warm pao de quiejo (cheese bread), crispy polenta, caramelized bananas and Argentinian empanadas. B&B Butchers & Restaurant is serving lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Customers can either order off of the regular restaurant menu or choose the three-course Thanksgiving menu with family-style sides. All dine-in guests go home with a turkey sandwich to eat as leftovers. $68 for adults; $25 for kids 12 and under. 5212 Marathon Ave., Fort Worth.

BCD Tofu House, which opened in June in Carrollton, is serving its regular menu from 11 a.m. to 9:20 p.m. The Korean restaurant originated in California and has grown to Texas, New Jersey and New York. Food is priced a la carte. 1050 E. Trinity Mills Road, Carrollton.

Bird Cafe in Fort Worth is serving brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. A la carte options include pumpkin brioche French toast, smoked turkey and pumpkin pie parfait. 155 E. Fourth St., Fort Worth.

Blue Mesa Grills in Plano and Fort Worth are planning a Thanksgiving brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Options include endless servings of turkey and ham, corncake stuffing, apple-kale salad, pumpkin flan, ice cream sundaes and more. $24 per adult and includes Champagne, mimosas, coffee, tea and soft drinks; $7 for kids ages 6 to 11; free for kids 5 and younger. 8200 Dallas Parkway, Plano; and 612 Carroll St., Fort Worth.

Boston Markets are open on Thanksgiving Day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. — earlier than most other eateries. A plated Thanksgiving lunch or dinner costs $13.99 and includes turkey or chicken; two sides; a roll; and a slice of apple pie or pumpkin pie. 17 Boston Markets in D-FW are participating; go to bostonmarket.com/location.

The Cajun Place in Allen is serving fried turkey, mashed 'taters, oyster stuffing and more. They promise that their TVs will be tuned to football. $19.99 per person. 190 E. Stacy Road, Allen.

The Capital Grille, open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., is serving turkey with stuffing, green beans and cranberry-pear chutney. The table can share family-style bowls of sweet and mashed potatoes. Full menu also available. Fixed dinner is $43 for adults, $15 for kids. 500 Crescent Court, Dallas; 800 Main St., Fort Worth; and 7300 Dallas Parkway, Plano.

CBD Provisions in downtown Dallas is selling new brunch and dinner dishes in addition to its regular menu. Options include buttermilk hotcakes for brunch or a turkey feast with acorn squash hummus, sweet potato casserole and more for dinner. Brunch runs 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; dinner is 4 to 9 p.m. A la carte pricing. 1530 Main St., Dallas.

Choctaw Casino & Resort, which isn’t in North Texas but is pretty darn close, is serving Thanksgiving meals to guests from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. $39.99 per person. 4216 S. Highway 69/75, Durant, Okla.

City Hall Bistro inside the Adolphus Hotel in downtown Dallas is serving a three-course lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The meal starts with shaved Brussels sprouts salad and deviled eggs, followed by Cajun fried turkey, smoked turkey leg terrine and cranberry chutney. Pastry chef Ruben Toraño is still working on the dessert menu. $39 per person. 1321 Commerce St., Dallas.

City Works in Frisco is opening from noon to 8 p.m. for a Thanksgiving meal with a buffet of sides. Entrees include prime rib or turkey, and guests can get endless sides like chipotle maple glazed sweet potatoes, andouille sausage stuffing, bourbon glazed carrots and more. Dessert is also part of the buffet. $45 for prime rib, $35 for turkey; sides and dessert included in price. Kids dinner is $15 and includes sides and dessert. 3680 The Star Blvd., Frisco.

Cool River Cafe is serving an a la carte menu from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Guests get hickory smoked turkey or herb-crusted turkey, with all the sides, for $28.95. Add a salad or a slice of pie for an extra charge. 1045 Hidden Ridge, Irving.

The Crescent Club inside Hotel Crescent Court, which is normally open for members only, is opening to the public from 11 am. to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Options include omelets, waffles, charcuterie, seafood, and a carving station with all the Thanksgiving trimmings such as ham, turkey, prime rib, cornbread dressing, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole and more. $95 for adults, $55 for kids 5 to 12, free for kids under 5. Crú Food & Wine Bar is serving a three-course, family-friendly lunch or dinner from noon to 9 p.m. The restaurant has four locations: Dallas, Plano, Allen and Fort Worth. $46 per person; $23 for kids 12 and under.

Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, which was just purchased by Houston billionaire Tilman Fertitta, is serving a prix fixe menu where guests choose an appetizer and a dessert. Everyone gets turkey breast with trimmings. $49 per person. 2323 Olive St., Dallas; 5905 Legacy Drive, Plano; and 812 Main St., Fort Worth.

Del Frisco’s Grille, another new Fertitta acquisition, is serving a large menu with options such as butternut squash bisque; crabcakes; honey dijon pork tenderloin; filet mignon; truffled mac and cheese and a host of desserts. Dodie’s Cajun Diner at The Harbor in Rockwall is serving a Cajun Thanksgiving from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with fried turkey, cornbread dressing, charred bourbon corn, bread pudding and more. $19.99 for adults; $12.99 for kids under 12. 2067 Summer Lee Drive, Rockwall.

Dot’s Hop House & Cocktail Courtyard in Deep Ellum is opening 7 p.m. to 2 a.m., drinks only. Cheers to that. 2645 Commerce St., Dallas.

Ebb & Flow, a new restaurant in Deep Ellum, is opening 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. and serving its regular menu. 2651 Commerce St., Dallas.

Eddie V’s in Dallas and Fort Worth are serving holiday dinner from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dishes include slow-roasted turkey, brioche sage stuffing, green beans with sun-dried tomatoes and roasted butternut squash. Live jazz from 4 to 8 p.m. $43 for adults, $15 for kids. 4023 Oak Lawn Ave, Dallas; and 3100 W. 7th St., Fort Worth.

Elm Street Cask & Kitchen in downtown Dallas is opening 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The menu includes turkey, cornbread stuffing, cranberry relish and more. $24 per person. 1525 Elm St., Dallas.

Fairmont Dallas offers two options: brunch or prix fixe dinner. Brunch is at 10:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m. or 2 p.m. Wear cowboy boots or a hat to brunch for a free glass of Champagne. Dinner is 5 to 8:30 p.m. Both options offer traditional Thanksgiving food “with a Texas flair.” Brunch is $69 for adults, $34.50 for kids 6 to 12, free for kids 5 and under. Dinner is $49 for adults, $24 for kids 6 to 12, free for kids 5 and under. 1717 N. Akard St., Dallas.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar in Plano is serving a three-course menu from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Customers are also welcome to order from the regular menu. Those who love wine can pay $100 for a glass of Vérité La Joie 2012; customers will take a pair of Riedel wine glasses home as part of the price. Fixed menu costs $45 per person, $22 for kids. Adults pay an extra $15 if they choose filet mignon as an entree. 7250 North Dallas Parkway, Plano.

Fogo de Chão is serving Thanksgiving lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Options include roasted turkey breast, cranberry relish, Brazilian sausage and apple dressing, and sweet potato casserole. 2619 McKinney Ave., Dallas; 4300 Belt Line Road, Addison; and 5908 Headquarters Drive, Plano.

Georgie by Curtis Stone, a brand-new restaurant in Dallas that opened Nov. 19, is serving a three-course “supper” from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. $75 per person. 4514 Travis St., Dallas.

Gorji Restaurant is serving Thanksgiving dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. The three-course dinner includes salad, turkey and dessert, but this restaurant has a few options that make it different. First, there’s a vegetarian entree of three-cheese spinach lasagna. Second, there are two pricing tiers: $69 or $79 per person. And third, the restaurant does not allow tipping. 5100 Belt Line Road, Dallas.

Highland Park Cafeteria in Casa Linda is hosting brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Options include one entree, two sides, salad, rolls and dessert. They have a serious dessert selection here, with more than 11 cake and pie options. $15.99 per person. 1200 N. Buckner Blvd., Dallas.

Hilton Dallas/Rockwall Lakefront is serving Thanksgiving lunch from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The all-you-can-eat event includes a carving station, seafood bar, made-to-order pasta and more. $60 for adults; $48 for seniors, veterans and active military; $28 for kids 6 to 12; free for kids 5 and under. 2055 Summer Lee Drive, Rockwall.

The Holy Grail Pub in Plano is serving lunch and dinner from noon to 5:30 p.m. The menu includes choice of appetizer, salad, entree and dessert. In addition to fried turkey with fixin’s, the pub will also serve the option of lamb chops with cherry sauce. $40 for adults, $12 for kids menu. Optional $15 four-course beer pairing. 8240 Preston Road (near State Highway 121), Plano.

Kona Grills in Plano and Dallas are open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. — making them two of the only restaurants open late on Thanksgiving Day. Specials include macadamia nut turkey with miso mashed potatoes or traditional toasted turkey with brioche stuffing. $24 or $26 for adults; $12 for kids. 5973 W. Parker Road, Plano; and 8687 N. Central Expressway (inside NorthPark Center), Dallas.

LAW Restaurant at Four Seasons Dallas is serving brunch from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The fixed-price meal includes chicken-fried turkey, roasted acorn squash, raw bar, custom omelets and more. This might be the best part: “There is an entire room dedicated just to desserts that includes a liquid nitrogen ice cream bar and caramel dipped apple station,” says a statement from the hotel. $95 for adults; $45 for kids under 12. 4150 N. Legacy Hall, a food hall in Plano, is expected to be open from 3 to 11 p.m., with some food stands open and selling regular menus. (Some will also be closed.) All bars are open. Customers can watch the Dallas Cowboys game in the Box Garden. 7800 Windrose Ave., Plano.

Live! by Loews, a new hotel near AT&T Stadium in Arlington, will celebrate its first Thanksgiving with lunch from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., just before game time. (The game begins at 3:30 p.m. and is within walking distance of the hotel.) Food stations include chilled seafood, charcuterie, prime rib and Texas cornbread stuffing. $49 for adults, $20 for kids ages 4 to 11; free for kids 3 and younger. 1600 E. Maggiano’s Little Italy is serving a three-course family-style meal from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The restaurant is combining Thanksgiving favorites like roast turkey with giblet gravy with Italian-inflected dishes such as focaccia sausage stuffing. And of course there will be pasta. $39.99 for adults; $17.99 for kids 5-12. 205 Northpark Center, Dallas; and 6001 West Park Blvd., Plano.

Meddlesome Moth in the Design District is serving turkey brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The restaurant has a new chef, Suki Otsuki, who moved to the gastropub after Mudhen Meat and Greens closed in the Dallas Farmers Market earlier this year. $25 per person. 1621 Oak Lawn Ave., Dallas.

The Mercury is serving a brunch buffet from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Options include turkey and sides as well as sushi. $64.95 for adults; $44.95 for kids 8 and under. 11909 Preston Road (at Forest Lane), Dallas.

Mexican Bar Company, inside The Shops at Willow Bend, is serving lunch and dinner buffet from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Expect a Mexican spin to Thanksgiving, with dishes like chorizo stuffing and churros. $35 for adults, $15 for kids aged 7 to 15, free for kids 6 and under. “Lazy day leftovers” — or food for the day after Thanksgiving — is available for purchase a la carte. 6121 W. Mimi’s Bistro + Bakery is selling a three-course meal for groups of any size. The meal from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. starts with salad or soup, then everyone gets turkey and a host of traditional sides. Dessert is pumpkin or pecan pie. $19.99 per person. 301 E. Interstate 20, Arlington; or 5858 SW Loop 820 in Fort Worth.

Moxie’s Grill & Bar in Plano is serving dinner with turkey, garlic mashed potatoes, stuffing and more from 3 to 10 p.m. Options can also be delivered via Uber Eats, DoorDash or Grubhub. $30 for adults, $12 for kids. 8451 Parkwood Blvd., Plano.

Norma’s Cafe in Oak Cliff is open 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will serve free Thanksgiving lunch for anyone who wants it. Guests will find turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, peas, salad, rolls and more. Norma’s Cafe is at 1123 W. Davis St., Dallas; the other Norma’s Cafes are not open on Thanksgiving.

The Oceanaire in Dallas is serving food from noon to 9 p.m. The fixed menu features turkey roulade with sage-cranberry stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry chutney and vegetables. $40 for adults, $15 for kids. 13340 Dallas Parkway (at Galleria Dallas), Dallas.

Omni Dallas’ Texas Spice restaurant is serving Thanksgiving food from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests can choose to eat family style or order a plated special. Both come with turkey, stuffing and traditional sides. The family-style option comes with extras, like creamed corn and buttermilk biscuits, and pie for dessert. $37 per person for family style. $23 for plated special; add $8 for a la carte desserts. 555 S. Open Palette in the Sheraton Dallas Hotel is hosting a brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The extensive menu includes French toast, omelets, lobster bisque, crab claws, California rolls, blackened salmon, roasted turkey with gravy, prime rib, pork tenderloin and much more. Pegasus City Brewery is open 2 to 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. It’s beer only here: But after all that turkey, maybe that’s exactly what you’re seeking. 2222 Vantage St., Dallas.

Perle on Maple in Uptown Dallas is serving a prix fixe menu where turkey isn’t the only entree option. Beyond the bird, guests can choose prime rib or pumpkin ravioli. Meals are served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 5 to 10 p.m. $49.95 per person. 2927 Maple Ave., Dallas.

Perry’s Steakhouse & Grilles in Frisco, Grapevine and Dallas are selling a decadent meal of soup, salad, turkey and sides from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. $45 for adults, $15 for kids 12 and under. Porch Swing, a new restaurant in Mesquite that opened in spring 2019, is serving a Thanksgiving buffet from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Options include turkey and cranberry roasted pork loin plus some of the restaurant’s signature Southern dishes like Spanish red shrimp and pasta, breaded catfish and chicken fingers. The restaurant owns a pie shop, so of course there will be pie. $21.50 for adults, $18.50 for seniors, $10.50 for kids 10 and under. 3855 W. Emporium Circle, Mesquite.

Princi Italia is hosting a three-course Thanksgiving dinner from noon to 9 p.m. $46 per person; $23 for kids 12 and under. 5959 Royal Lane, Dallas or 3300 Dallas Parkway (at Parker Road), Plano. Despite the tornado that temporarily closed the Preston-Royal restaurant in October, it reopened Nov. 6.

Rainforest Cafe in Grapevine offers a Thanksgiving dinner from 6 to 10 p.m. Options include turkey, cornbread stuffing, green beans, cranberries and pumpkin pie. $20.99 per person; $8.99 for kids. 3000 Grapevine Mills Parkway, Grapevine.

Romano’s Macaroni Grill is hosting Thanksgiving Day festivities from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Guests can order a three-course meal that includes soup or salad, turkey feast and cheesecake with pumpkin demi-glaze. Customers can also order from Macaroni Grill’s traditional Italian menu. $24.99 per person. 7 locations in D-FW, in Arlington, Cedar Hill, Fort Worth, Frisco, Lewisville and Plano.

Roy’s Restaurant in Plano is serving an Asian-Hawaiian Thanksgiving over three courses from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. $39.95 per person, with optional wine pairings for $20. $12.95 for kids 12 and under. 2840 Dallas Parkway (near Parker Road), Plano.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House is opening from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. at three D-FW locations. Seasons 52′s Thanksgiving meal includes turkey, mashed potatoes, mashed butternut squash, cranberry relish and mini pumpkin pies. The restaurant prides itself on its “Never Ever” turkey, which is antibiotic-free. 8687 N. Central Expressway (at Northwest Highway), Dallas, or 7300 Lone Star Drive, Plano.

Second Floor Regionally Inspired Kitchen at Galleria Dallas is selling a decadent buffet with appetizers, salads, entrees, a carving station, sides and kids’ food. Desserts include a fresh-baked cookie station or tastes of Texas desserts like caramel churros, candied jalapeno and pecan chocolate bark, pecan toffee bread pudding and more. $75 for adults; $35 for kids ages 6 to 12; free for kids under 6. 13340 Dallas Parkway (at Alpha Road), Dallas.

Shell Shack will be open from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. serving its normal menu. In honor of the Dallas Cowboys game mid-afternoon, the restaurant is offering $1 off drinks (excluding specialty drinks) from 4 to 7 p.m. Other specials include $5 frozen drinks and a $3 peach cobbler shot. Six restaurants in North Texas: Plano, Arlington, Mesquite, Denton, Fort Worth and Dallas.

Silver Fox Steakhouses in Fort Worth, Frisco and Richardson are serving a three-course lunch from noon to 6 p.m. Options include butternut squash soup; roasted tenderloin with creamed corn, whipped potatoes and sugar-snap peas; and pumpkin pie. $49 for adults; $18 for kids 12 and under. 1651 South University, Fort Worth; 1303 Legacy Drive, Frisco; and 3650 Shire Blvd., Richardson.

Slater’s 50/50 will be open from 11 a.m. to late-night on Thanksgiving Day, serving its regular menu. The restaurant recently debuted its Thanksgiving Burger, a 1/3-pound turkey patty with brioche stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce and garlic-sage aioli on top. 2817 Greenville Ave. and 11661 Preston Road, both in Dallas. Open until midnight on Greenville Avenue and 10 p.m. on Preston.

Stampede 66 by Stephan Pyles — which moved from Dallas to Allen in early 2019 — hosts its first Thanksgiving meals this year. From 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., guests can order a prix fixe menu that includes turkey breast or beef brisket; sides of blue corn chorizo stuffing, spicy sweet potatoes and cranberry mojo; and deep-dish apple cream cheese pie or pumpkin-pecan pie with whiskey sauce. $38 per person; optional wine pairings cost $20. 777 Watters Creek Blvd., Allen.

The Statler in downtown Dallas is hosting a free meal from noon to 3 p.m. for first responders, veterans and their families. STIRR in Deep Ellum and Fort Worth are serving family-style lunch or dinner from 2 to 10 p.m. with pumpkin bisque, Texas greens, fried turkey, sugar-glazed ham and sides like jalapeno-smoked cheddar cornbread stuffing and candied yams with toasted marshmallows and brown sugar. Dessert is pumpkin cheesecake, apple crisp or chocolate bourbon pecan pie. $25.99 for adults; $11.99 for kids under 12. III Forks in Dallas, which isn’t often open at lunchtime, will serve Thanksgiving from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Guests pay a flat fee and get to choose their three courses: salad or tenderloin tomato soup; turkey, beef tenderloin or salmon; and pumpkin pie, pecan bread pudding or bourbon-chocolate pecan pie. $49 for adults, $18 for kids 12 and under. 17776 Dallas Parkway, Dallas.

Truluck’s is opening from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for a Thanksgiving feast. First course is lobster bisque, Caesar salad or a pecan and goat cheese salad; second course is turkey with sides; third course is pecan pie or pumpkin pie. $45 for adults; $19 for kids 12 and under.
