ARLINGTON — Hurst L.D. Bell (3-0) held on to defeat Arlington Sam Houston (0-3) Friday night at Wilemon Field 10-7. The game ended with Arlington Sam Houston at the Hurst L.D. Bell goal line following a time-consuming 17-play drive.

Arlington Sam Houston elected to go for the win but quarterback Andre Saulsbury was unable to crack the goal line on the game’s last play and L.D. Bell held on for the win.

Gracien Anto once again led Hurst L.D Bell with 128 yards on 16 carries and one touchdown. Quarterback Landen Garcia added 96 yards through the air on 11 for 19 passing.

Arlington Sam Houston outgained L.D. Bell for the game behind the rushing of running backs Daniel Adams and Malachi Saddler, who gained 98 and 68 yards respectively.
