KELLER — Owen Allen gained 195 yards rushing on 12 carries as Southlake Carroll, the #3 ranked team in the Dallas Morning News 6A rankings, overcame a slow start to roll past Keller Central for a 49-3 win at Keller ISD Stadium.

Carroll (7-0, 4-0 District 4-6A) lost fumbles on each of its first two offensive series, before James Lehman put it on the board with a 14-yard touchdown run with 0:08 to play in the first quarter. Lehman finished the night with 77 yards on 11 carries.

Allen helped spark a 21-point outburst for Carroll in the second quarter with a 64-yard touchdown run. Lehman added a three-yard touchdown run and Graham Knowles threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Jacob Jordan to give Carroll a 28-3 lead at the half.

Carroll put the game out of reach with 21 points in the third. Allen scored on a five-yard touchdown run and Knowles connected on a nine-yard touchdown pass to Jordan. Todd Mallory finished the scoring with a 34-yard touchdown run.

Adrian Wilson led Keller Central (1-6, 1-3) with four receptions for 96 yards.
