SOUTHLAKE — Owen Allen ran for 162 yards and three touchdowns, leading Southlake Carroll to a 42-7 District 4-6A victory over Northwest Eaton at Dragon Stadium on Friday.

Following an interception by defensive back Carter High on the first drive of the game, Carroll (8-0, 5-0) gave the ball to Allen on all four plays of its first possession, which resulted in a 25-yard rushing touchdown.

The offense then briefly stalled, turning the ball over on downs and then punting on its next two drives. As the second quarter began however, the offense exploded for 28 points. All touchdowns were on the ground, as Allen scored his next two followed by quarterback Graham Knowles finding the end zone.

Carroll totaled 372 rushing yards in game, with James Lehman also contributing 142 yards.

Quarterback Noah Lugo led Eaton (3-5, 2-3 in 4-6A) with 138 total yards including a touchdown on the ground.
