EVERMAN — A 25-yard touchdown rush for Errick Mills sealed a 42-34 overtime victory for Everman over Arlington Seguin.
After being down 28-13 with 9:24 in the third quarter, Seguin (3-3, 2-1 District 5-5A) scored 15 unanswered points to tie the game at 28 heading into the final quarter. Both teams scored and missed a PAT to head into overtime with the contest knotted at 34.
The Everman (5-1, 3-0) defense held on 4th down in overtime, which set up the offense and Mills for the game-winning run.
Seguin running back Naszae Otieno rushed for 213 yards and two touchdowns in the loss. Mills finished with 220 yards and four touchdowns, leading Everman to victory.
